Internet Explorer Security Flaw May Put Online Banking at Risk

Microsoft has confirmed a security flaw in Internet Explorer browser that could put online banking users at risk. Microsoft describes the security flaw as a method for a hacker to take advantage of users with malicious links. In short, fooling the unsuspecting user into clicking on a link that appears to be a valid source.

The discovery of this security issues within Internet Explorer brings awareness for the need of complying with industry standards. It is recommend to transition away from Internet Explorer to primary browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari on Mac, at least until Microsoft has fixed the security flaw.
